Inside Coinbase
Home Page Watchlist
The “Home” page includes a “Watchlist” of crypto currencies which include Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoins, USD Coin and others. The list includes a recap of important information with the current price, percentage change, market cap, a quick chart, trade option and a watch button.
Bitcoin Page Detail
When you choose one of the currencies listed, you go to the detail page which includes a larger graph with options to quickly change views to one hour, 24 hours, one week, one month, one year and all. Below the chart, it also includes some great information including
The percentage of recent trading activity of “buy” vs “sell” as well as a typical hold time
A recap description of the currency as well as links to the official website and it’s “white paper”
Top stories on recent developments around the world regarding this particular currency. This is a great place to review some of the current events and happenings from quality sources so you know that you’re getting some real information
On the right side it also has three easy to see buttons with options to buy sell and convert.
There is so much more information here that you could spend weeks reviewing it all. But the important takeaway for you should be that this is REAL information. There is no “hype” or misleading information here.
Earn Rewards
The Earn Rewards section should all be of particular interest to beginners. It is also my favorite spot to check out. This area includes “videos” on new crypto currencies. Today, they had “Numeraire” which they called “A crypto-powered crowdsourced hedge fund”.
Video 1 - “What is Numerai”, a one minute video with an opportunity to earn 1 NMR by answering a question quiz,
Video 2 - “What is Numeraire” 1 min video to earn 1 NMR
Video 3 - “Who can participate in Numerai” 1 min video to earn 1 NMR
After you watch the video and answer the question you are immediately rewarded with the crypto currency. And behold, you now own a crypto currency - for free!
This sure beats trying to earn a few satoshi by playing games and clicking on endless ads from other sites.
